Properties of Airy-Gauss Beams in the Fractional Fourier Transform Plane
نویسندگان
چکیده
An analytical expression of an Airy-Gauss beam passing through a fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) system is derived. The normalized intensity distribution, phase distribution, centre of gravity, effective beam size, linear momentum, and kurtosis parameter of the Airy-Gauss beam are demonstrated in FRFT plane, respectively. The influence of the fractional order p on the normalized intensity distribution, phase distribution, centre of gravity, effective beam size, linear momentum, and kurtosis parameter of the Airy-Gauss beam are examined in FRFT plane. The fractional order p controls the normalized intensity distribution, phase distribution, centre of gravity, effective beam size, the linear momentum, and kurtosis parameter. The period of the normalized intensity, phase, and centre of gravity versus the fractional order p is 4. The period of effective beam size, linear momentum, and kurtosis parameter versus the fractional order p is 2. The periodic behaviors of the normalized intensity distribution, phase distribution, centre of gravity, effective beam size, linear momentum, and kurtosis parameter can bring novel applications such as optical switch, optical micromanipulation, and optical image processing.

Simulation of an Airy Beam with Optical Vortex under Fractional Fourier Transforms
First, this study obtained the fields of an Airy beam (AiB) with optical vortex (OV) for a Fourier transform (FT) system and a fractional Fourier transform (fractional FT) system; thereafter, their intensity and phase patterns were simulated numerically. The splitting on each line of the phase pattern indicates the position of an OV. The results show that the OV position will change when the po...
متن کاملTransformation and spectrum properties of partially coherent beams in the fractional Fourier transform plane.
An analytical and concise formula is derived for the fractional Fourier transform (FRT) of partially coherent beams that is based on the tensorial propagation formula of the cross-spectral density of partially coherent twisted anisotropic Gaussian-Schell-model (GSM) beams. The corresponding tensor ABCD law performing the FRT is obtained. The connections between the FRT formula and the generaliz...
متن کاملElzaki transform method for finding solutions to two-dimensional elasticity problems in polar coordinates formulated using Airy stress functions
In this paper, the Elzaki transform method is used for solving two-dimensional (2D) elasticity problems in plane polar coordinates. Airy stress function was used to express the stress compatibility equation as a biharmonic equation. Elzaki transform was applied with respect to the radial coordinate to a modified form of the stress compatibility equation, and the biharmonic equation simplified t...

We introduce the generalized Airy-Gauss (AiG) beams and analyze their propagation through optical systems described by ABCD matrices with complex elements in general. The transverse mathematical structure of the AiG beams is form-invariant under paraxial transformations. The conditions for square integrability of the beams are studied in detail. The model of the AiG beam describes in a more rea...

We introduce the generalized Helmholtz-Gauss (gHzG) beam and analyze its propagation through optical systems described by ABCD matrices with real and complex elements. The transverse mathematical structure of the gHzG beam is form invariant under paraxial transformations and reduces to those of ordinary HzG and modified HzG beams as special cases. We derive a closed-form expression for the frac...
